The Mitchell Mansion Preservation Fund exists to preserve, protect, and restore one of Milwaukee's most treasured historic landmarks. Through responsible stewardship and community support, the Fund ensures this architectural masterpiece continues to serve future generations while honoring its rich history and significance to our city.
In 2013, The Wisconsin Club and the Wisconsin Preservation Fund entered into a Historic Preservation Agreement to ensure the long-term care of the Mitchell Mansion. Through this partnership, the Wisconsin Preservation Fund administers funds raised specifically for the Mitchell Mansion Preservation Fund, with all contributions dedicated exclusively to preserving, restoring, and maintaining the historic character and architectural integrity of the Mitchell Mansion.
This partnership provides a lasting framework to help safeguard one of Milwaukee's most treasured historic landmarks, ensuring it can be enjoyed by members, guests, and the community for generations to come.
